The process of making an iron

Hence, it is further important to purify iron for removing those impurities.
Primary steel making
There are two relevant as well as important methods for making steel, which are further categorized into oxygen steel making and electric arc furnace. The first method such as oxygen steel making is associated with addition of scrap steel to the molten iron, when it is in the furnace only. The oxygen is then further forced through the liquid to remove the impurities and making the metal almost 99 to 99.5% pure. Consequently, with another method recycled steel is added into an electric arc along with molten iron. The combination is further heated at about 1650 degree, to further purify it to a very high-grade steel.
Secondary steel making
In the next step, the newly formed molten steel is further being adjusted to make the most desired steel combination; these desired outcomes are either achieved through fluctuating the temperature or through removal of certain metals.
